I had an errand to run. I put the windows down and opened the sunroof. The day was 60 degrees and sunny. But, I spent the first part of my trip ruminating over projects that weren’t going well and things I still had to troubleshoot.
I noticed I was feeling extremely stressed. How could I feel stressed when it was so beautiful out? Because I was thinking about things I could do nothing about at the moment.
Back in the present moment, I could see the beautiful trees, feel the sunlight on my face and wind in my hair. I sung to a song on the radio.
By the time I got home I was no longer stressed. I was renewed.
